Tunisia: Tenth International Conference on Advanced Learning Technology
After the United States, Russia, Japan and Australia, the city of Sousse hosted from July 5 to 7 the 10th edition of the International Conference on Advanced Learning Technology “ICALT 2010″, one of the largest scientific meetings specialized in information and communication technologies (ICT) applied for learning.
“ICALT 2010″ is organized in association with units of research in information technology within the Universities of Tunis and Sousse as well as the Khawarezmi Computer Centre.
Lectures by leading international experts, such as the American Lean Lederman, winner of the Noble Prize in Physics 1988, as well the presentation of some as 200 papers and three scientific workshops are also on the agenda of the conference
On the sidelines of the meeting, an English-language website will be launched. It will be dedicated to young people around the world, on the occasion of 2010 International Youth.
The English-language website will include a virtual forum on youth and education aimed at collecting recommendations and suggestions that will be discussed at the forthcoming International Youth Conference to be held under the aegis of the United Nations.
