I suppose that this is a big asset for students from developing countries, especially that education is highly valued in Finland, and the high standard of education forms one of the corner-stones of the Finnish national strategy.
The e-Taalim team reviewed some programmes of one of the most renowned technical universities in Finland, Tampere University of Technology (TUT).

TUT offers eight interesting international Master’s degree programmes. The programmes are aimed at students who have excellent English language skills combined with a university-level Bachelor of Science degree from a relevant field of engineering with a good GPA. The duration of each programme is approximately two years and the language of instruction is English.
The programmes offered are as follows:
* MSc Programme in Architecture: The two-year Master’s programme in architecture offers top quality education in architecture. The programme is taught entirely in English and it starts in late August/ early September each year, beginning in 2010.
* MSc Programme in Biomedical Engineering: The Programme offers students a high quality education and challenging classes. The education combined with the research prepares students for flexible professional career opportunities in versatile and challenging field of Biomedical Engineering. You can choose between several majors and minors, and you are able to select courses that meet your interests.
* MSc Programme in Business and Technology: It offers a wide variety of perspectives on management and leadership in an international, technology-driven business environment.
