For instance; having fixed the goal of promoting cooperation between institutions and enriching their educational environment, the project allows participants to benefit educationally, linguistically and culturally from the experience of learning in other European countries. Accordingly, this reinforces its contribution to develop a pool of well-qualified, open-minded and internationally experienced young people as future professionals.

Absolutely, the beneficiaries, whether they are institutions or students, must be registered at a higher tuition holding an ERASMUS University Charter or at most belonging to an EU member state country. As the setter of fundamental principles for all ERASMUS actions, this constitution supplies all European cooperation activities with the general framework to conduct within the assigned course. The receiving as well as the sending higher schools have to be certified by the competent authorities of the countries located in which, eligible for participation in the lifelong learning Program. Concerning potential students; they must be enrolled in higher education studies leading to a recognized degree at least in the second year, or other acknowledged tertiary level qualification up to and including the level of doctorate.

The interested student has to turn to the international office and/or ERASMUS office of his home higher education institution where he will get information about the possibilities of studying abroad as well as the modalities to apply and to receive an ERASMUS grant. Actually, through this project the learners have the possibility to be financed in different ways noting that a wide range of them may be awarded ERASMUS grants or national loans maintained during the study period aside. Distinctly, in all the situations, they are exempted from paying fees for tuition, registration, examinations and access to laboratory and library facilities at the host institution.

Beyond, looking forward to ensure at the most extend the assimilation of the course by the participants, an “ERASMUS Intensive Language Course” is accorded in the host country before the study period, for which a grant may also be awarded. The taught languages are those used as teaching ones at higher education institutions in a large number of countries where this plan is effectuated. As a matter of fact, they would study from two to six weeks with a minimum of 60 teaching hours in total. In this way, students are better prepared.

As a conductive educational project, the program supports the disciples and follows them in all their steps. Furthermore, it maintains orderliness and transparency from the beginning by according to each one a student charter setting out their rights and obligations with respect to their period of study abroad.
