<p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 15px; padding-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 1em/1.6em verdana; margin: 0px;">“ICALT 2010″ is organized in association with units of research in information technology within the Universities of Tunis and Sousse as well as the Khawarezmi Computer Centre.</p>
<p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 15px; padding-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 1em/1.6em verdana; margin: 0px;">Lectures by leading international experts, such as the American Lean Lederman, winner of the Noble Prize in Physics 1988, as well the presentation of some as 200 papers and three scientific workshops are also on the agenda of the conference</p>
<p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 15px; padding-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 1em/1.6em verdana; margin: 0px;">On the sidelines of the meeting, an English-language website will be launched. It will be dedicated to young people around the world, on the occasion of 2010 International Youth.</p>
<p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 15px; padding-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 1em/1.6em verdana; margin: 0px;">The English-language website will include a virtual forum on youth and education aimed at collecting recommendations and suggestions that will be discussed at the forthcoming International Youth Conference to be held under the aegis of the United Nations.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The prestigious <a href="http://www.ieee.org/" target="_blank">IEEE</a> professional association has chosen the town of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sousse" target="_blank">Sousse</a> to host its 10<sup>th</sup> International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (<a href="http://www.ask4research.info/icalt/2010/others/" target="_blank">ICALT</a>).</p>
<p>Sousse is a Tunisian city with rich culture and a long-standing tradition in computer-based learning.</p>
<p>The ICALT conference will be held from July 5<sup>th</sup> till July 7<sup>th</sup>, 2010 and will be co-organized by the University of Tunis, the University of Sousse and the Informatics and Telematics Institute based in Athens.</p>

<p>The technical program will feature keynote address, workshops, and tutorials in addition to presentations of refereed papers. The Deadline for submitting papers has been extended to January 25<sup>th</sup>, 2010.</p>
<p>A doctoral consortium is planned at this conference. The Doctoral Consortium is a workshop for Ph.D. students from all over the world who are in the early phases of their dissertation work (i.e., in their first or second year). The goal of the Doctoral Consortium is to help students with their thesis and research plans by providing feedback and general advice on using the research environment in a constructive and international atmosphere. The Doctoral Consortium provides PhD students with the opportunity to meet and discuss with experts in their area. Students will present and discuss their thesis in the context of a well-known and established international conference outside of their usual university environment.</p>
