The learning organization as well as the skill set for a knowledge society are the key themes of the discussions at this Forum. The idea is to set up as an open conference with related exhibitors integrated into one area. The forum offers first-hand insights on actual trends in the field of digital learning and knowledge management from both – practioneers in the open conference as well as experts and vendors in the exhibition area.

The main part of this open conference contains discussions about project experiences, critical success factors and challenges of old and new approaches regarding digital learning and knowledge management concepts. Many practioneers have been invited to give insights to their projects and their experiences. Topics to be discussed focus on the new trends in the field of digital learning and knowledge management – as there are the evolution of blended learning, new approaches to social and game based learning, skill and talent management as well as new ways of e-assessment for the field of digital learning and experiences with community-of-practices, new collaboration and knowledge approaches and ways of knowledge controlling for the field of knowledge management. Besides that vendors are contributing with presentations of innovative solution approaches.
