Following the participants’ feedback, it was discovered that the main driver for participating in this course was the special interest to the topic. Participants were mostly passionate about journalism, enthusiastic blog readers or just news lovers. Some of them felt it is important and exciting for them to be a part of a project, such as p2pu.

Most of the participants have already been writing on their own blogs and wanted to learn how to write in a more “journalistic” manner. Some of them had their own learning projects that they wanted to improve them with observation of this course, and some wanted to learn how to use the new web tools for journalism. Others just replied they want to follow the course “for the sake of knowledge”.
